I'm going to assume that no-one here is going to decide to eat them so
that's probably the cheapest option so far ... if anyone does want to try
to
get together to do a quantity purchase to get the prices down then let me
know how many you'd like, I'll work out how many we need overall and let
everyone know what the final numbers are.

Of course you can also try to get 'em in dribs and drabs from Maxim as
"samples" as has also been suggested (and as I've done in the
past) but I've
never managed to get any more than two at a time out of 'em and usually you
have to wait a few months before sticking in your next samples order for
your next two...
