That is really strange because both types are the same price on the Maxim
site.

You need to check the software the the boards you ar using because the
"B"
version DEFAULTS to 12 bit resolution so instead of 0.5C increments it is
0.0625C increments so all readings would be wrong. (Which is why I didnt
suggest the B version)
