My 3 year old then wouldn't know anything about voice activation. In
our
house it was a simple motion sensor, the fact she chose to yell 'lights on'
at the same time was just icing on the cake for the spectators ;-)

What system do you guys use for voice activation?

I could get that setup - get my parrot to learn how to say
"lights" and he
can turn on his light whenever he needs it.
