Would a 3-way mains adaptor work? Its basically a plug and 2 or 3 sockets
in one.

Those guys also have a 3 way plug with movement detector - you could
certainly modify that.
Dont use those plastic PSU boxes as earth is plastic.

Subject: [ukha_d] Do they do...
Anyone seen anything like a mains socket, but with a mains plug on it ?
Im looking to build myown socket, so I can trigger it via a 12v relay - ie
a socket near a cat5. I can then send a 12v signal down the cat5 to the
relay inside this to switch a mains socket.
Then comfort/cbus/etc can just send a 12v trigger. But finding a suitable
small enough housing is proving tricky !
