HD Question

I seen a really nice HD TV in at costco tonight.

This is the same TV at dabs.

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?quicklinx=3D4JH4

What is confusing me though is that it 1080p but says the resolution is
onl=
y 1024x768.

Does this mean it is not true HD then and it is maybe downscaling a 1080p
v=
ideo?

Is this problematic.... Should I only be going for a TV with 1920=D71080
ac=
tual pixels ?

Whats your opinion guys on technical and personal view.

many thanks

Chris
