I did that first time around and regretted it when expanding. Now using
it on servers at work and it's *very* flexible.

Ubuntu never seems as well tested for servers as some other flavours.
But I also use it for this as I'm so familiar with it.

Do you have a link to where this specific issue is being discussed?
And have you turned off atime? This makes a huge issue on loaded
servers.
