RF Modulator as Video sender solution?

  • Subject: RF Modulator as Video sender solution?

Hi Folks.

I want to send video from one room in my house to another but have
no way to run any CAT5 to do it that way.

I purchased a Wireless Video sender, but it is terrible, the other
room is just not getting a good picture at all, even with all
wireless devices unplugged (router, phones etc).

I remembered I have a simple Scart to RF modulator at home that I
used a few years back for connecting a DVD player to an old TV with
no inputs except arial.

Now. This TV has an arial cable coming through the floorboards which
comes from the loft. Could I split the cable in the loft, take
another arial cable down into the room where the video source is,
and then use the modulator to put the signal onto the arial cable
which travels about the house, and the video source can be tuned in
like a regular channel?

Also. If this is possible. Could this modulator be used with an
inline IR injector to also get IR working between both rooms?
