RE: Re: Geovision and Idratek

Karam, not sure if you answered my last posting, only got about 10
postings
in the last 2 days again!!!!

I have a trial version of Cortex running on my CCTV server with Geovision
running but I can not get Cortex to see the cameras.

I can not use the video capture card, or the camera item, they say
"Video
Capture Card not available in this licensed version of Cortex" but I
can use
the Web browser multiple camera viewer but can not find a way to point it
towards the Geovision capture card.

>From what I have read so far, Idratek is fantastic! But this is an
important
part of my system..

Hope you can help me,

Thank you,

B.

Not aware if anyone has tried Geovision, but are you talking about
compatibility with Geovision PC card digitisers or are we talking about
IP cameras? One way to find out is just to try it with a trial version
of Cortex which, though limited to allowing only one camera, might at
least tell you if camera images are accessible. Licensed Cotex
obviously allows multiple cameras, number essentially depending on your
PC grunt
