I bought one from Ikea from their Gallant range a few months back.
It's a
modular design and as John said is supported by heavy duty tubular/box
section metal frame. You can get them in straight, left and right hand
corner units. There is also a bunch of accessories to fit, such as CPU
carrier, filing cabinet, etc.
The style of them is very much modern office environment. The desk is just
that, a desk. Drawer units are seperate and can be added if needed.
It depends upon what style of desk you are looking for - modern styling may
not appeal.
