Re: What do you call this type of door ?



Hi Jim ,

I'm discovering a variety of names , pocket, pivot/hinge,
pivot/slide and I think I might at last have found a company called
'Accuride' who can handle the full size door type arrangement I have.  I
had a look at Woodfit  but my door is too large for those mechanisms.

Re hinging down the centre - a good suggestion and I hadn't thought
of that but it's a nice oak panel and a listed building plus I dont have
the side width if I did ... so I'll probably go for the proper mechansim
from the start.
