Ok. What about 2-way control - reading values as well as switching? Do
most/all X10 applicance and lighting modules support this now?

I'm also thinking of putting some 1-wire stuff in as well for things
like temperature sensing and would also like some sort of heating
control - is there some inexpensive heating control solution that's a
set up from crude rewiring of an existing 5day/7day heating control
using relays?
