Nigel - I recall you have rfxcom & Homeseer?

What about opening the garage door from the VP1000 keyfob? There is the *
'lights on' key that is not used on the BT version panel. With the rfxcom
&
Homeseer software you could decode this spare key and create your own
functions with some logic, eg if alarm is disarmed and ' * lights on'
pressed then open garage door.
