OOOHHH !!!!

Getting closer to what I want to achieve.

Found the registry entries and changed the about:navigationcancelled to
point at my file and that worked if I typed
"about:navigationcancelled" in
the address bar.

Only stumbling block now is that if I unplug the network cable to simulate
loss of connectivity the error page displayed is
"res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm#" and non of the AboutURLs have
that value
in their keys :(

But I havent given up hope yet :)

Pauls idea about a local proxy server also sounds interesting as does the
iFrame option which I will also look at.
