RE: Sat on a Toilet Sensor ?
Kevin,
=20
Thanks for the "heads-up" on that one, I'm just in the process of
ordering =
a Pulsor + controller board from the Sureaction.. they look excellent
value=
for money, especially the current rate of 2$'s to the =A3
=20
The single zone controller board (supports 1-3 pulsors) is $67 (~34)
A single pulsor is $30 (~=A315)
Shipping is likely to be around $20 (~=A310)
Total cost $107 (=A354.. hopefully I'll avoid duty and vat..)
=20
Anyway, I'll report more when I've actually got one and tried using it...

Hi Marcus,
Under a previous topic (occupancy detection) I was looking at using=20
these 'Pulsor' pressure/strain sensors to detect occupancy , hoping they=20
might detect someone even when asleep on the sofa. But I think they=20
report 'change' rather than any steady load state so I didn't go any=20
further. I was still interested for some entry exit type light=20
triggering or even for my stair treads.=20
They may well work well for you in this application though. I may still=20
get some and have a play.
