Thanks for that Chris and Paul.

I have not heard of Idratek before (not been lurking for long).  Their
website is www.idratek.com and it looks pretty interesting stuff.  We
already have cbus for lights and general switching.  It was with a heavy
heart that we went with cbus because we had this vision of a
"pure"
ethernet-only HA network.  That was until we got a few bits and started
playing around and are now cbus fans.  If we were to go with a bespoke
bus with (relatively ) expensive sensors then we would extend cbus.
1-wire allows us to measure lots of things for little cost for
additional sensors.
