RE: Dimmable Low energy lamps
That sounds very very similar to the "Megaman GSU111S" bulb
I've recently
installed.
It's "Dimmable", but not in the traditional sense:-( (ie don't
expect it to
work with Cbus, Rako, X10 dimmers etc).
To set the dim level, you need to toggle it on and off in rapid succession.
(Or, if using a conventional dimmer switch, turn it from one extreme to the
other, then back again) - this set's level A, repeat for level B, C / off.
If yours is different - I'd love to hear more about it!
Cheers,
Rob

Subject: [ukha_d] Dimmable Low energy lamps
Just received details of a 11w dimmable BC Low energy lamp
from the blurb
"Works on virtually any light switch or dimmer switch
4-step dimming - 100%, 66%, 33% and 5%
10,00 hours live
Upto 20% energy savings for each down dimming step."
The end is nigh for the LV lamp........
Dean.
