IR over IP using Global Cache

Hi,

I recently purchased a GC-100 Global Cache IR to IP adapter from Ebay.
I plan to integrate this with my Xantech IR house distribution to
control devices when I'm away from home.

I bought this product under the impression that it didn't require any
additional software, however I've sice learned that the in built
webserver does not store or send IR codes. It is only used for
configuring the inputs and outputs of the device.

So it sounds like this device can only be controlled with software
that must have it's own database of IR codes.

I was just wondering if any of you have this GC-100 kit and what
software you are using ?

Ideally, I would like to have control over my NAS Webserver (which
supports PHP). My 'Home Strategy' is to have full control without
having to leave my XP PC on.
