I don't think that there is a non-computer phone for Skype because of=20
it's proprietary nature, although you can have a USB connector to=20
connect a standard (POTS) phone to the PC (I couldn't make this work=20
with Linux Skype, but was OK with W2K)
The alternative is to use someone like Sipgate that you can connect to a=20
Telephone Adapter device - I am using a LinkSys PAP2 connected as line 2=20
on my PBX.Sipgate gives free land line numbers, probably including one=20
matching your existing dial code. I also use Voipcheap as they have zero=20
cost calls to many foreign locations, but no free land line number.=20
Landline numbers for SIP services can be had for a price from third
parties=
.
I don't have Tivo or Sky, but I see no reason why they shouldn't use a=20
telephone adaptor - it works just like a standard phone - unless the=20
bandwidth isn't good enough for their modem signals.
