Don't take this the wrong way, but what b*ll*cks!     ;-)

The very best computer of the 80's home computer revolution was the BBC
Micro. No question.

I have two in the loft including a Z80 second processor that connects via
the Tube interface and allows it to run CPM (along with dual floppies, FM
synth and 1MB RAMDISK). One of mine (a Master) was previously owned by the
BBC.

no no no no....
the BEST computer was the Commodore 64! beats the 'speccy' hands down :)
Sound Chips, Video processors all on board and with 64k ram!, none of
these wobbly ram packs! or Kingston joystick interfaces - all built in
to the C64 :)

I still have mine with the 5 1/4" single sided floppy drive and synth
module etc...
ah those were the days :)
