RE: Dual tuner cards

I have 2 of the Nova T 500's, in 2 separate machine. I have to say
they are
pretty good. Occasional failed recording due to signal loss. But then I
don't technically live in a freeview area, so I'm fairly happy.

I would recommend them.

Some users have bought the Blackgold cards, but I have no experience with
them.

I tend to browse around www.avforums.com <http://www.avforums.com/> to see
how others users are getting on before I dive in.

Hope this helps

Dave

Subject: [ukha_d] Dual tuner cards

I'm about to start building an MS Media Centre based PC. To start with
this will be based on the XP version rather than Vista. I am currently
look at the Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T 500 and a Terratec Cinergy 2400i -
both are digital dual tuner cards.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

JB
