Not sure where you are based but you could look at http://www.farn-ct.ac.uk/templates/coursessearch____155.aspx?cid=813&s=3
(or go to their website and search for electrical in the courses). There is
some more information there and I did get a prospectus from them with more
information but no longer have it.

I also looked at this route but was put off by the need to have real work
signed off by a qualified electrician. I couldn't find a way to do real
electrical work prior to qualifying as my house would only count once not
the necessary 3 times. An 'apprenticeship' would resolve this chicken and
egg situation but not something you can easily do if you have other full
time employment and can't take the salary hit.

If you search back on my posts I think other people helpfully provided more
information to me when I asked this question but it was a couple of years
ago now.
