Fw: XBox remote control

Spooky - I ordered the X3IR a few days ago - same price and delivered
from
within the UK, but it comes with a RS232 and USB connection - and with the
software you can tell it to learn other codes

Works a treat. Comfort/CBUS can tell the XBOX to go on and off and set the
Amp inputs accordingly (as none of it is in the lounge etc)

It uses the existing buttons on the XBox DVD remote control: DISPLAY to
switch it on, and 0 (zero) to switch it off. You can use the DISPLAY
button
as normal once switched on, but the 0 button will always switch it off.
I've not found this a problem, but it may be for some. Apparently the V2
of
the XIR Kit can be reprogrammed with a different IR set.
