I've got something very similar. It uses Stop, Stop, Select to turn the
Xbox on and Stop x4, Select to turn it off. It works very nicely with my
Harmony 895 remote and doesn't cause any problems at all.

The only issue I can see with having 0 to turn the box off is when you
zoom in to a picture using the number keys. I believe 0 zooms back out.
