Other thing I've found with the Slysoft stuff is that you can use it
to rip
"copy protected" cds (don't know whether anyone's done it for
DVDs)
When I was ripping our CDs for the SqueezeBox some won't rip directly, but
I
could create ISO's of the CD and then mount them using Slysoft's VirtualCD
and rip from there...
