I can second the slysoft route. Never looked back since Phil
recommended
it to me. "It just works" and with minimal fuss and effort.
Hell I even bought a licence :-p

Well, answered part of my query, copying the VIDEO_TS folder to hard
drive doesn't work - encryption!
So its one of the decryption apps then. DVD Shrink is free... is the
slysoft stuff much better?
