Actually, ignore my ramblings. I must be having a blonde day.
Scrolling down a little in the settings/main menu section showed an
option for "genre on/off". Turning that on gives me what I need
-
selecting genre fromt main menu gave me a list of artists, and
choosing the artist led to the albums. Perfect.
Now all I need to do is get MCE to do the same, and to get my ID3
tags sorted :-)
