Nah - they are *EXACTLY* the same unit - we used to buy them in at Lets and
we'd order in a batch of some "LetsAutomate" branded units and
some just
"X10" branded (which would be used to sell to other HA retailers)
and even
though they were made in the same batch and had the same datecodes then the
LetsAutomate branded ones would be supplied at CM12U and the X10 branded
ones would be supplied as CM11U (and the boxes would have been printed up
as
such too).
Don't ask me why though ... just the way they do it.

AFAIK the CM11 is the American model, and the CM12 is the European model...
I don't think there's such a thing as a CM11U - I think all the UK models
are CM12U's.
So if you see a CM11U it's probably just a typo.
CM11 and CM12 are fully compatible as far as software is concerned, so
anything which says it supports a CM11 will also work with a CM12, and vice
versa.
