RE: Xbox as MCE 2005 Extender



It's quite possible to run the Xbox MCE extender on a UK X Box, but
only if
your XBox has been chipped/ softmodded.



Of course, if you don't have an MCE, it's a bit pointless. :D

Andy,

I think you may be referring to XBMC rather than the official MS Xbox MCE
extender. However, I could be (and hopefully am) wrong.

I don't think what you've been told is right. IIRC, there's a few people on
this list running MCE extenders on UK Xboxes.
