Re: Electronic Wizards

wicked thanks..

has anyone seen these other lantronix devices?

http://www.lantronix.com/device-networking/embedded-device-servers/xport.html

this looks quite cool... has a built in TCP/IP stack and web server inside
the size of
an RJ45 jack.... could something like this be used instead with a little
extra electronics to supply power and an RS232 chip etc?

this also looks quite nice... same as that MSS100 but designed as an
internal module
rather than external module.

http://www.lantronix.com/device-networking/embedded-device-servers/msslite.html

I think my first dive into electronics I would like to try this xport
device - I like a challenge.

Now it says it controls RS232 - is there anyway I can control a hitachi
20x4 LCD with that?
or does it need to be parallel?
