Hi Phil,
No I didn't forget that fact!!! :o) I was thinking about it whilst typing.
The move to DVD from VHS was a big leap. Better picture and sound
quality,=
direct access, less physical storage space, extras features etc...
However, the move to HD DVD only gives improved resolution and no other
adv=
antage as far as I can see. At current price levels for the hardware and
d=
iscs I doubt HD DVD will be as fast a seller as the change from VHS to DVD.

...just as when DVD came out and people changed their collections from VH=

to DVD the change from DVD to HiDef gives the studios another way to earn
some dough for doing bugger all.
