Hi Gareth

You could have the windows tinted. But you don't want permanent black
out! Even a clear tint though can block UV and make the room cooler and
prevent sun damage to internal furnishings.

We have Velux black out blinds and boy do they cut out the light! The
room goes pitch black! Perhaps there is a standard window equivalent?
