Sky Distribution newbie

Hi,

Often I've heard about Sky whole-house distribution using a 'Loft Box'.

However, I've found other devices. Please compare :
- Loftbox : http://www.letsautomate.com/10567.cfm?
- SLx : http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/MXSLX8G.html

I'm confused about my options with connectivity and the choice of
which device to use :
a) When you refer to a Loftbox, are you referring to the brand (1st
link) or either of these devices ?
b) Do these devices offer any more functionality compared to the
other ? Would you recommend any particular brand ?
c) Are these boxes capable of IR distribution ?
d) I'm aware these devices capture from the RF Out from the Sky box,
but do I need a special device to connect these to the destination
TV's ? Or do they just go straight to the destination TV's UHF aerial
socket ?
e) What cable type is suited to Sky distribution ? Sky Cable (CT100)
or standard aerial cable (RG59)

Any advice, would be uch appreciated.
