It's actualy a different thing Tim - the DVD kit lets you control XBMC
when
the Xbox is on, this is a seperate little mod that lets you wake it up from
power off with an IR command.

It actually hooks up to the pins behind the power switch, and a 5V line on
the mainboard that's always powered - it just listens for a suitable IR
command, and "presses" the button.

Toys R Us had the "DVD kit" i.e. the remote control handset and
IR
receiver eye reduced to =A37.50 a little while ago (I paid =A320 for
mine...)
