I was unable to find the information required myself about this.
I have came across this though which I am going to purchase

The IR junction box which allows multiple IR repeaters/reciever to
be combined into one signal path / set of wires.
which will then go into the IRC4 connecting block, which can then
control upto 4 double emitters for 8 devices.
