If your UK PAL XBox is not chipped, you *will not* under any
circumstances
be able to use the Media Center Extender. The software as sold by Microsoft
requires an NTSC XBox.

If you have modded or chipped your XBox, then you can use the Media Center
Extender Kit on a UK PAL XBox. The mod/chip allows the XBox to run software
from out of region or from "backup" media etc.

I have a copy here (and it's a copy, not an original), but it really
wouldn't do you any good unless you either get your XBox chipped/modded, or
buy an NTSC XBox.

Ian.

Wasn't there the suggestion that you could chip your Xbox and it would
work as an extender, or did I mis-interpret that post?

Cheers,

Tim.
