Stephen,

Comfort can be interfaced to a number of components....However something
such as homeseer and x10 may be a cheaper alternative (available from a
number of suppliers or on ebay). I previously used an x10 appliance unit
which can be controlled via Homeseer remote or via my Comfort system to
"boost" my heating...i.e. put heating on/off when required.
