I am more than happy to pay for my music, but I won't pay a brass bead for
something with DRM. I want the freedom to move the media from device to
device without hindrance, and yes - to share on a small scale with my
friends.



Remember that AllofMP3 offered to pay royalties, but the RIAA and it's kin
refused - because they didn't want to "legitimise" it. Much
easier to scream
pirate and have the US government throw it's weight around.



Sickening, that's what it is.

As Leo Laporte always says, these technologies only hinder the honest user.
They drive the rest to illegal downloads.
