Re: Re: Which 'phone, which plan ... ?

Ian, Patrick -

Great, thanks !

>T-mobile coverage is very town-centre centric ...

Oh dear ... thanks, I'd almost decided to move to T-Mobile, but we are
mostly in the sticks & find even (our current) Vodafone isn't great ...

>Nokia ...

our first 'phones were Triums (very good user-interface) ... now I use a
Nokia 3310 (awful inteface), and 'wife had one too, but it was always
cutting-out, so we got her a Motorola clam-shell (not bad) ...

>data ...

checking e-mails (typically fifty a day, sometimes a few hundred) &
web-browsing (Google & Met-Office & 'Telegraph, and linking into
Idratek, which is pretty comprehensive, to check & command the HA)
would
be our main usage, plus a few 'phone-calls (mostly UK, but also to &
from US & EU) ...

plus PDA functions (contacts, calendar, presentations, notes &
photo's),
and camera (photo's & comm's) ...

plus, we need all this for two ...

and (of course) it has to be affordable ... currently our two 'phones
together cost us under 30GBP a month ... so hopefully something near that
!
