DIY Cable shielding

I need to run a speaker cable in the same duct as a ring-main power
cable
for about 1.5m - not very long I know, but I before I do it, I have the
opportunity to try to add some extra shielding to the speaker cable.

I thought about wrapping this section in ordinary kitchen tin foil.

Is this a stupid idea?
Should I choose a different material for the shielding?
If so .... what?
