Re: Mainlobby

Hey Paul,

Been running it here for a while now. Works like a charm and in my
very humble opinion, worth every penny.

My installation is integrated with Homeseer2 and runs on a 15inch
touchscreen. Using the ML to Homeseer interface also allows the
Mainlobby client to view xAP information, temperatures, Infrared
devices, security devices.. the lot. I like to think of ML as a
pretty front end to Homeseer. The only time I use homeseer interface
now is to setup or configure devices.

My only trouble with it has been under speccing a PC to run it. My
client had ample CPU and memory but was using on on board cheapo
graphics card. I found that if I used overlays in my scenes and
especially background flash animations, it can really show graphical
lag.

All in all it's a damn fine product. It can get expensive,
especially if you start addding some of the various addons.

Have you tried it yet ? They do offer a 30 day free trial.

Cheers

Marc
