No, but it's not allowed. I'm guessing they would cancel the account if you
abused it.

Traffic is not the main problem - battery life is. MSN is not a
"smart"
application. Push email etc sends a *tiny* amount of data when idle - MSN
is
just yak yak yak, and that keeps the radio active all the time.
I have seen numbers quoted at around 5Mb an hour for MSN.
