Re: LCD TV's with RS232

Stuart,

So far I've found that it responds to the following undocumented commands
(that are documented for
eg the LC2D series :-

Colour temperature (ku)
Red, Green and Blue adjust (kv, kw & k$)
LowPowerMode (jq) - not sure if this does anything
OrbiterTime (jr) - likewise
OrbiterPixel (js) - ditto
PIP enable (kn) Off = 0, PIP = 1, DW1 = 2, DW2 = 3, POP (programme scan) =
4

There's no PIP positioning command that I've found so far, but that's
probably because the LX2R
series lets you position and size the PIP pretty much anywhere on screen
rather than in fixed positions.

I've also found that the Tint control seems to be the only one that doesn't
support sending FF as
the data to retrieve the current setting, but that may be because the set
has to be in the
appropriate input mode e.g. TV and tuned to a channel (I have no aerial
connected to my set so I
haven't really played with the tuner yet).
