UPS Position In Rack / Cabinet

What's the best position for UPSs in a cabinet?

I'm getting conflicting opinions. Some say that putting UPSs at the bottom=
=20
is best as it's generally the coolest place in an enclosure. Others say=20
that putting them at the top is best as they are generally the hottest=20
pieces of equipment so why let all the heat they produce rise up through=20
other equipment making that hotter?

My cabinet is in the garage and made of wood approximately 2000mm * 900mm
*=
=20
800mm internal dimensions. It's got a 6" extractor fan pulling air in
at=20
the bottom and a 6" extractor fan sucking air out at the top which is
then=
=20
ducted outside the garage.

The cabinet will eventually contain 2 UPSs, 3 server PCs, sky box, ntl
cabl=
e=20
box, cctv dvr, cctv web server and various other bits and bobs
(switches,=20
routers, etc).

Shelving will be 18mm mdf with holes drilled to promote airflow from
bottom=
=20
to top.

Any thoughts?
