[OT] "safety" camera databases

General query about who uses what camera database on their satnav
units?

I used to use the PocketGPSworld one, but that has gone from being free
to a subscription service... - I don't mind paying for something that's
worth having, but if I'm going to pay for a camera database, then I'm
obviously going to exercise a bit more discretion about which one I pay
for, since I don't want to end up paying more than once...

I'm also intending to upgrade my TomTom to one of the new 910's later in
the year (have to convice SWMBO first!) - this now has a built-in camera
database, although I *suspect* that this will also be a
subscription-only one as part of the TomTom plus services (bit difficult
to tell from the press I've read so far...)

So, - are there still free camera databases available, or have they all
gone subscription only now? And regardless of this, are there any
differences between the available databases? - are any "better"
than
others? And so on..
