Thanks - I already use this on a couple of PC's - mostly OK but there
are s=
ome limitations and problems.

Unfortunately, one of the devices I need to control is a professional DVD
r=
ecorder (based on Linux - but with no access to the O/S) - so Synergy
isn't=
an option :(

Paul.

How about a software solution?

Synergy2 allows you to share the keyboard and mouse from one PC (or Mac)=20
with multiple clients. You need a screen for each (which it sounds=20
like you already have). Best of all it's free (GPL)=20
http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/

I use it at work with my lappy and desktop since I /hate/ lappy=20
keyboards and nipples/pads/balls - and it works pretty well (a couple of=20
minor niggles but I wouldn't be without it)
