Unfortunately looks like this drive needs a separate internal SCSI-II
terminator. I forgot what a pain SCSI can be!
Anyone got a 50 pin cable and terminator they want to give away/sell? ;)

Usually SCSI-I devices (well, all the ones I used to have anyway) were
fitted with three resistor packs which could be either physically removed
if
not necessary or disabled with a link...
