Hi Paul,

PGC.NET rips the DVD so that you end up with 1 file of the whole
film. AVI.NET then uses this file to convert to an avi file.

Quite possibly, avi.net may be able to use your existing ripped VOB
files.

where you
can download the programs and also the user guides.
