Well watching the football last night was in HD on BBC HD.
Visual differences: on the whole pitch shot, on normal TV the players were
unclear, on HD you could read the numbers on their shirts.

Does this require a dodgy card, or will the BBC free-to-air card suffice? I
don't watch anything other than the 4 main channels, so this sounds ideal.
Having thought about it, do any of the 4 main channels show HD content?
