A few years ago I bought a couple of Airpanels from an ebayer in the
states who posted them with US Postal. It wasn't their super-duper
service but it wasn't their cheapest either, I think it came to about
the same as you'd pay for a courier but he had to stick the stamps
on :)

Anyway, I eventually got them - it seemed to take a week for them to
make it from his location to the outgoing hub, another week to make
it out of the states, 1 day to cross the atlantic and then another
week to clear customs. Then we had to wait for Royal mail to deliver,
which they wouldn't do until I'd paid the customs duty, VAT and RM's
collection surcharge - all with the postman on the doorstep waiting
for either cash or a cheque.

Mind you, this was only a couple of months after 9/11 so I could
understand the customs delay.
