Forgot to add that the 'inverter' types normally heat too - they don't
have=
a heater as such but take the heat from the air at the condenser - maybe n=
ot good for heating if outside is really cold - but the times I've used it
=
in the winter, it was quite efficient.

I had a Sharp plasmacluster Eco Inverter split unit installed in my home
of=
fice - great bit of kit, quiet, powerful and good looking. Has to be
instal=
led professionally and cost something like =A31400 installed. Used a
fairly=
local commercial installer who were happy to do it.

All

We are in the final stages of designing a new Office as part of a=20
garage conversion.

I am toying with the idea of fitting a split unit air-con system.

So does anyone have experience of this sort of unit. It will need to=20
do both cooling and heating.

Finally, anyone know of any good suppliers suitable for a residential=20
install?

Thanks

Ben
